Level’s Pilates Instructors
work with a wide range of individuals from rehabilitation to
athletes – and everything in between. Pilates is a great
type of exercise modality as a follow up to physical therapy
after an injury or surgery, as Pilates strengthens the whole
body around the injured part.
Many sports including Golf
and Tennis involve rotation or repetitive movements which
can cause imbalances or overuse injuries. Incorporating
Pilates into the training regime can develop greater
stability, core control, and range of motion, while
decreasing fatigue, injuries, and biomechanical issues.
Repetitive movement from endurance activities such as
running and cycling can cause imbalances in the body.
Pilates strengthens the weaker muscles and lengthens the
tighter ones.
Pilates is suitable for
those who have never exercised and are looking to improve
their mobility and to be pain free. On the other end of the
spectrum, the advanced exercise enthusiast will find
improvement in their existing fitness level through strength
in their core.
Whether you are looking to
get the Hollywood Body, to improve your fitness level, or to
rehabilitate, Pilates at Level Fitness will provide you with
a stronger body from the inside to the outside. |
