Pilates exercises strengthen the core of the body and also restore muscle balance. Level Fitness has a fully equipped Pilates Studio. We offer daily private, semi-private and small group sessions as well as mat classes. Pilates equipment classes are limited to four students, allowing for personalized instruction within a group setting. 

Performance in many sports, including golf and tennis, can be enhanced with Pilates. Incorporating Pilates into a training regime can develop greater stability, core strength, and improved range of motion while decreasing fatigue, injuries and bio mechanical issues.


Pilates is suitable for those who are new to exercise and are looking to improve their mobility and to be pain free. On the other end of the spectrum, an advanced exercise enthusiast can improve their existing fitness level, flexibility and core strength.

Class Descriptions:

Beginner Pilates Equipment - This class teaches fluid movement using the Pilates equipment, emphasizing the six principles of Pilates – centering, control, concentration, precision, breath and flow. Foundations Class is recommended for those new to Pilates or with any injuries or issues. The class is designed to provide a whole body workout while teaching the concepts of alignment and length. 

Mixed Level Pilates Equipment - This class will meet you where you are at. Whether you are looking to deepen your Pilates concepts or pursue a specific fitness goal, this class will help you progress. Modifications and variations of the exercises will be offered so that everyone can work at their own level. Strength, length and alignment are the focus of this class! 

Intermediate/Advanced Pilates Equipment - This class is a progression that adds pace and complexity to the Pilates repertoire. This includes weight bearing in the extremities, lessened spring support and emphasis on breath and flow. This is a fast-paced class that emphasizes the control and strength required in the advanced Pilates repertoire! 

Chair Plus - The Pilates chair is a small but powerful tool for functional training. Strength, proper biomechanics and alignment are developed through standing exercises and floor work with the Pilates Chair. This class combines Chair work with the Pilates Arc and other tools to tone every major muscle group. You will leave feeling rejuvenated, balanced and energized. Some prior Pilates experience is recommended but not required. 

Reformer Fit Pilates Equipment - A fast paced workout on the Reformer that combines attention to detail with pace and fun!  Tone, stretch and strengthen as you improve your overall fitness level and coordination! In this multi-level class, Reformer work is combined with other equipment to tone those hard to reach "problem areas" in ways only Pilates can!

TEEN Pilates - This class is specifically designed for teenagers! This small group class will teach teen agers better engagement of their muscles and control over their core.
