Hard Core/ Boot Camp
(II & III)
Go Hard or Go Home! Take your training to the next
level with this ultimate calorie burning workout. This
program includes a combination of high intensity sports
conditioning drills and resistance training. Class offers
challenging options for athletic conditioning. Hard Core
will meet in the studio as well as outside when weather
permits.
Rock’n Body (II & III)
The perfect combination of cardio and strength training!
This total body workout will sculpt and define your body;
burn fat and gain cardiovascular benefits. The program will
constantly change, incorporating a variety of equipment
including resist-a-balls, BOSU balls, gliding discs,
dumbbells and more to keep you continually motivated and
progressively challenged. The only thing you can predict is
a sweat drenching, full-body, muscles sore the next morning
workout.
Definitions (All)
In this Non-Aerobic workout, participants will use
combinations of the following equipment: BOSU balls,
resist-a-balls, dumbbells, tubing, and gliding discs to
build strength, gain muscular endurance, and define the
muscles of the entire body. Strength training increases bone
density and increases the number of calories a person burns
at rest. Great for all levels of fitness.
Kickboxing (II & III)
Empower yourself to experience this supercharged, fat
burning class that integrates elements of martial arts
including Kicks, punches and footwork. This total body
workout will help you to increase your strength, speed, and
stamina, as well as tone and sculpt everything important!
Step (II &III)
Step up to this high energy easy to follow step class.
Great for all ages and levels of fitness.
Recess (All)
Build strength, stamina, and agility in this dynamic and fun
45 minute class. Appropriate for all levels and abilities
as each student can tailor the movements to suit his or her
needs.
Body Blast (II & II)
A high powered total body workout that combines kickboxing
and sports conditioning drills. A great combination of
interval training that is guaranteed to make you sweat and
be sore the next day.
Cardio Mix (All)
A high energy cardio class that will change from week to
week. Class formats to look forward to: kickboxing, bosu,
hi-low aerobics and cardio intervals with weights.
Pilates Mat (All)
Pilates Mat consists of a series of 34 exercises
developed by Joseph H. Pilates. These movements are designed
to improve strength, flexibility, and create long lean
muscles. Learn techniques to develop core stability and
enhance your mind/body connection.
Level I Yoga (All)
The perfect class to develop comfort and proficiency in
basic classical poses. Taught within the Anusara tradition
of clear instructions, which combines the connection of
movement to the heart and breath. You will develop
confidence in your poses and enhanced body awareness.
Level II Yoga
A natural progression into more challenging poses, with
emphasis on balancing and inversions.
Restorative Yoga and Meditation (All) (II & III)
A passive experience using blankets, walls, and the
floor to fully support your body in a series of deep
stretches, forward bends, back bends, and twists: a
time-honored approach to releasing deep muscle tissue,
improving the flow of fluids and energy in the body,
inducing a state of deep relaxation and single-pointed
awareness. A mind-body experience to prepare you for
learning or supporting your meditation practice.
Extreme-ly Yoga (II & III)
A carefully structured class designed for capable yoga
students to explore the realm of possibilities: hold
postures longer, practice inversions and vinyasa (flow yoga)
and learn more challenging poses in a supportive,
non-competitive environment.
Therapeutic Yoga & Gental and Special Conditions Yoga (All)
For students who have injuries and serious conditions such
as spinal problems, arthritis, and acute injuries, and
require more individual attention. Class moves at a slower
pace. All poses are carefully modified for each student as
necessary.
Level I—New to fitness programs
Level II– Some fitness experience
Level III—Your gym bag stays in your car
CLASS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
All new participants must complete a waiver form, and create
an account with Level prior to their first class.
(To save time, please register over the phone with the front
desk, then you only have to sign the waiver on your first
visit.)
Pre-registration is required for all classes,
you may register by phone or in person.
Reservations will be taken one week in advance. Call
301-229-0080. Walk ins will only be allowed if space
permits. (To ensure a quality program, most classes are
limited to 15 participants)
Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours in advance
of class start time. If your reservation is not cancelled
you will be charged for the class.
(Members will be charged $15).
Proceed directly to the barn and check in
at least 5 min. prior to your class.
There is no need to visit the front desk unless you need to
complete forms, or purchase sessions.
Appropriate footwear is required. Barefoot appropriate for
Yoga and Pilates.
Please be considerate of others, arrive on time and leave
cell phones in the car!!
Participants must be 16 years of age or older to participate
in Adult Group Exercise Classes unless special permission is
given by the instructor.
3 ways to pay:
• Level Membership includes all non-fee classes (all classes
on the group fitness schedule)
• Non-Members may purchase class packages at a discounted
rate. (6 and 12 packs are avail.)
• Non-Members may pay per class.
Fee:
• Level Members– No Fee
• Single class $20
• Six pack $17 per class
• Twelve pack $15 per class
Before you start our program:
• Be sure to inform the instructor of any medical
limitations
• Always exercise at your own pace, slow down or modify the
movements if needed
• During the aerobic section of the class, stay within your
own “training heart rate range”, if you are unsure of that
please ask the instructor for assistance
• While improving flexibility, never stretch to the point of
pain
• Be sure to sip water before, during, and after you workout
• If you feel dizzy, weak, faint, or have any pain while
exercising, stop and inform the instructor immediately
