Cardio Core - Class Begins January 5, 2016
Tuesdays at 3:00pm
This class will get your heart rate pumping with a low impact workout that combines aerobic movements with exercises to engage the core. Cardiovascular health is so important to keep ones heart functioning well throughout their lifespan. This class will help keep the blood pumping in a good direction.
Wednesdays at 3:00pm
This class takes a traditional Pilates mat class and slows it way down to understand the fundamentals of recruiting the intrinsic unit as well as breathing techniques to help strengthen the muscles of the spine as well. In this class you will modifications to traditional Pilates exercises in order to participate in class but deal with any current injuries or mobility limitations.
We have a lot of options available for mature adults aged 65 years and older at Level. We have private training sessions available for all needs and special requirements as well as a group class held five days a week specifically designed for persons of this age. These classes take place between 2p and 4pm and appear on our Group exercise schedule. These classes are included in your membership when you are a paying member of the club. B.S.F - Balance, Strength and Flexibility
Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at 3:00pm
This class, formerly called “Workout 101” is a instruction based exercise class that focuses on building balance, strength, agility, mobility and flexibility in a friendly and low-key atmosphere. This class is not only for the person that might be new to exercise but also a great class for mature individuals looking for a class more “their speed”! This class aids participants to better be able to balance and move around in space with out falling. It will help all participants improve balance, increase their strength to produce movement and improve their flexibility to decrease pain.
